MILACRON SHOWCASES AUTOMATED MOLDING SOLUTIONS FOR PRODUCTIVITY AND PRECISION AT PLASTIMAGEN 2026
Plastimagen 2026: Q-Series servo-hydraulic and FANUC Roboshot all-electric molding cells demonstrate efficiency, consistency, and integrated automation.
Mexico City, Mexico – Milacron will demonstrate how manufacturers can achieve greater productivity, consistency, and operational efficiency through advanced injection molding technology and integrated automation at Plastimagen 2026, from November 10 – 13, 2026 in Mexico City, Mexico. Visitors to Milacron's Booth 1822 will experience two live molding demonstrations featuring Milacron's Q-Series servo-hydraulic platform and a FANUC Roboshot all-electric molding machine, showcasing solutions designed to help processors improve performance, reduce variability, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
Q-Series Demonstrates Reliable, Automated Production
The centerpiece of the exhibit will be the Milacron Q-Series 170 servo-hydraulic injection molding platform producing banana slicers in a fully automated manufacturing cell. Designed for processors seeking a balance of reliability, efficiency, and value, the Q-Series combines proven hydraulic performance with energy-saving servo drive technology to deliver repeatable part quality while helping reduce operating costs.
Its compact footprint, intuitive controls, and versatile processing capabilities make the platform well-suited for a broad range of consumer, packaging, industrial, and medical applications. The live demonstration will highlight how integrated automation can improve throughput while maintaining consistent manufacturing performance.
FANUC Roboshot Highlights All-Electric Precision
Milacron will also showcase a FANUC Roboshot 200 all-electric injection molding machine producing single-serve coffee pods using a K-Cup mold application. Paired with Sepro automation, the demonstration will highlight the precision, repeatability, and clean processing advantages of all-electric molding technology.
Engineered for high-precision manufacturing environments, the Roboshot platform delivers exceptional molding accuracy, energy efficiency, and consistent part quality. The application demonstrates the advantages of all-electric technology for packaging, medical, and other demanding applications where process consistency is critical.
Automation and Processing Expertise Under One Roof
Together, the Q-Series and Roboshot demonstrations illustrate how manufacturers can leverage the right combination of molding technology and automation to improve productivity, reduce operational variability, and optimize overall manufacturing performance.
Beyond the live molding cells, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Milacron's broader portfolio of plastics processing solutions, including robotic automation, advanced controls, auxiliary equipment, extrusion technologies, and aftermarket services. Featured exhibits will include Milacron's MosaicXe control platform, extrusion innovations, machine retrofits, spare parts, preventative maintenance programs, and service capabilities designed to maximize equipment performance throughout its lifecycle.
Helping Processors Improve Long-Term Performance
Milacron experts will be available throughout the event to discuss application requirements, process optimization strategies, and equipment solutions tailored to individual manufacturing challenges.
"Manufacturers across Mexico and Latin America continue to seek opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and production consistency," said Cesar De la Torre, General Manager Milacron LATAM. "At Plastimagen, we're excited to demonstrate how advanced molding technologies, automation, and lifecycle services can work together to help processors achieve those goals while remaining competitive in a rapidly evolving market."
Milacron will exhibit at Plastimagen 2026 in Booth 1822.
